Our Origin

HomeEra™ was created from lived experience.

There was a period when the founder of HomeEra™ was staying at a Motel 6—not due to lack of capability, intelligence, or discipline, but because housing systems offer few options for people who fall between categories.

Too capable for assistance.
Too constrained for traditional access.

From inside that experience, the gap became clear:
the housing system does not recognize ability—it only recognizes credentials.

That realization became the mission.

If housing instability could stall someone with the ability to design systems, analyze risk, and execute long-term plans, then the issue was not personal—it was structural.
